Marching in the Morris Plains Memorial Day Parade 2026 RSVP PLEASE
Meet @ Borough School back parking lot off Mountain Way b/w 8:30 and 8:45 AM

The Morris Plains Marlins will be marching in the Memorial Day Parade on Saturday, May 23rd, 2026. If you plan to march, please meet us in the Borough School back parking lot off of Mountain Way between 8:30 AM and 8:45 AM, wearing your Marlins gear! Remember your sun screen/hat/rain gear, as the parade will be rain or shine. It's looking like it may be rain gear for this year. Also, please bring a labeled water bottle as it may get hot waiting for the parade to begin and while marching. Roads in the area will closed to parking so please plan accordingly. Once the Marlins complete the parade route, they can be picked up at the VFW on Route 53. We will plan on waiting along the fence to the right of the entrance driveway. If you are willing to walk with us and to help chaperone, please let us know. We do request that a parent/guardian march with all children who are ages 8 and under. The swimmers will be handing out bubbles along the parade route, which the team is providing! Please RSVP so that we have an idea of how many Marlins to expect! Please indicate on your RSVP if you allow your swimmer to be RELEASED at the end of the parade route without a parent/guardian pickup. Please also add a contact phone number in case of emergency. Rain Out...Not Here...We book MP Community Center as back up. Families are welcome for food and festivities from 5:30 to 7pm. Please RSVP with the number of family members attending, in order for us to supply the correct amount of food and drinks. for 7pm to 8:30pm is Marlins Only Pool Party. Volunteers will be needed for set up, clean up, and to chaperone the pool party. It will be a "float night pool party". RSVP and Sign Up will be live soon |

Marlins Pasta and Posters Party

Please RSVP for Pasta and Posters Party on Fri June 11. Some Markers and Posters will be provided by the team. Feel Free to bring markers posters, stickers to bring the bling to your poster. Please no sparkle glue or anything that can cause a mess. This is a swimmers only event, however we will need volunteers for this event, as well as food and drink donations. Volunteers and food donations at this event do not count toward 4 volunteer requirements. Set Up, During, and Clean Up Volunteers will be needed. |
