Coach Chris loves to teach swimmers to have a passion for swimming and competitive swimming through enthusiasm and fun no matter the age or level of swimmer. He has been a summer swim coach since 1994. He was a club swimmer for 11 years, and a Division 1 scholarship swimmer at Seton Hall University. He coached club swimming from 1999 until 2011 and has been teaching in Millburn Twp Public Schools since 2001. He is excited to be a Morris Plains Marlin and have fun developing each and every Marlin's swimming ability.
Hailey Ostrander is excited to be returning to the Marlins Coaching Staff for 3rd season having completed her sophomore year at West Virginia University. Hailey is a student of the John Chambers College of Business and Economics with a major in Accounting. Her love for competitive swimming began in Morris Plains at age 8 and continued for 10 seasons as a Marlin, and included 9 seasons of club swimming at the Greater Morristown YMCA and 4 years on Morristown High School Varsity Swim Team. In addition to coaching, Hailey returns to Morris Plains Pool this summer as a lifeguard.
